Morrowind Mod of the Day - The Northern Strongholds Showcase

Built in ages long past to defend the lands of Morrowind from invasion, the Dunmeri strongholds today stand as forgotten and forlorn citadels, home to petty bandit kings or Daedric worshippers or Sixth House minions, dungeons worthy of the ambitious adventurer.

Of course, like many things in vanilla Morrowind, these dungeons were often bare, empty, short or otherwise forgettable - and that is precisely where our Mod of the Day comes in, for today we're showcasing The Northern Strongholds by Lord Zarcon.

A massive dungeon overhaul mod, The Northern Strongholds overhauls and expands both the interiors and exteriors of six of the eleven Dunmer strongholds in vanilla Morrowind, covering the northern-ish strongholds of Rotheran, Valenvaryon, Falasmaryon, Indoranyon, Falensarano and Andasreth.

Each of these strongholds has been given a more unique and distinct look, with vastly improved detailing, expanded new areas, and new opponents for you to face, turning each of these ancient strongholds into truly memorable adventures!

For most of these strongholds, this is the only real overhaul available for them, and I'd recommend giving them a try!
