Sustainable Drainage Systems

This video is about Sustainable Drainage Systems or SuDS. SuDS are helping tackle the issues of increasing flood risk, and poor water quality whilst providing amenity and ecological benefits by replicating natural water systems.

They’re also a visible expression of nature-based solutions working with the water environment and helping to reduce the need for expensive, and often time-limited, engineering works.

In short, they’re becoming an important part of the urban landscape.
