The Renfrew Civil War Reenactment 2014 video was shot 90% with the new Panasonic Lumix FZ1000. Only the wide shots of the Fife and Drum musicians in the beginning were shot with my Sony A7r. Even then all the cut-away shots were with the FZ1000 hand-held. In fact all the shots with the FZ1000 were hand-held in the 4k mode and many zoomed in on the action to the max zoom which is 500mm+ in the 4k mode. Also, at the end of the video all the action shots with gun fire the sound was captured with the built in mics on the FZ1000. The battle scenes were over exposed because I had the shutter speed at 1/60th and the camera only stops down to f8. My mistake because I didn't have an ND filter I should have bumped up the shutter speed to get a better exposure. This was not the camera's fault.
