A short tutorial on how to use a Mini Parabolic Microphone to capture the audio while filming Bull Frogs. In part 2, we will discuss using a small parabolic microphone to pick up the low-frequency sounds of Bull Frogs, dispelling the belief that parabolic microphones are useless for low frequencies. This highlights the versatility of the Pro Mini Parabolic Microphone and that there are no disadvantages to using it even with low-frequency subjects. Samples of the results follow the tutorial. It should be noted that nothing but volume level was edited in the samples. No noise reduction or increasing the bass frequencies was applied. This is part of a series of tutorials by Wildtronics about recording wildlife and the combination of filming/recording. Be sure to subscribe to our channel so you can see more tips and techniques.
