If the brush won't move on your Dyson, and cycling the brush switch reset trick won't work. It does not matter which connector of the switch you connect back to which wire because it's just a switch. I am pretty sure that I actually reverse them when putting this back together :-) it doesn't matter. Hope this helps someone!
