The AKC UpDog Invitational brings together some of the world’s most talented disc-dog teams for two high-energy competitions: Freestyle and Far Out.
In Freestyle, handlers and their dogs perform choreographed routines set to music, blending precision throws, athletic vaults, and creative trick sequences that showcase the incredible bond between human and dog.
In Far Out, teams switch gears to pure distance — testing how far a handler can throw a disc and how fast and accurately their dog can run it down and make the catch.
