Takeout containers crafted from discarded urine bags, facial towels repurposed from foul socks and soiled undergarments. Even sanitary pads underwent a regeneration process. This year's March 15th annual consumer day gala show seems to have targeted the younger generation directly. Discovering at the 'March 15' Gala that those bargain takeout containers came from repurposed urine bags really sent the spirits of the younger crowd into a nosedive. Many unscrupulous manufacturers, in a bid to cut costs, have acquired medical waste from various sources. From used urinary bags to syringes previously utilized by infectious patients, everything seems to end up in these factories, where they're transformed into packaging materials. This not only means consumers unwittingly ingest contaminated products but also potentially use utensils laden with toxins.
