It was a hospital that couldn't cure it's own disease. Monsour Medical Center in Jeannette PA should have been an American success story, but this one didn't have a happy ending. It is a rags to riches to ruin story that ends in the abandonment of an entire hospital. It was as if one day everyone got up and left. Medical equipment, patient files, and even specimens were just left behind. I'm finding out a little bit more about this story and what happened to the old hospital.
