The Epilepsy Foundation of Michigan has been partnering with Comprehensive Epilepsy Centers throughout the state of Michigan to implement a Healthy Aging Grant, funded through the Michigan Health Endowment Fund. This grant project is entitled, “Optimizing Health Outcomes for Older Adults with Epilepsy.”
Dr. Rohit Marawar, Epileptologist from the Comprehensive Epilepsy Program at Wayne State/Detroit Medical Center, and Dr. Kristina Karanec, Epileptologist from the Comprehensive Epilepsy Program at Trinity Health St. Mary’s talk about that project and the importance of caring for epilepsy in older age.
