Venus Conjunct Neptune Synastry. Romantic Aspect, Love is Blind!

When someone’s Venus is conjunct to someone’s Neptune that is a true romantic connection that is very difficult to get out of because it feels so good. It will feel fantastic romantic almost like a dream come true. They will feel like your soulmate or twin flame. It’s as though you have been spelled or bewitched!

This relationship is often described as pure love, or something that exists only in books or movies. They are both very emotional and sensitive and are connected by gentle feelings and understanding for each other.

Venus is the planet that rules over beauty, love basically it rules over what we love and value. Venus rules over the wife in a man’s chart. Planet Venus is dominant in Taurus ruling the 2nd house and Libra ruling the 7th house because it rules these two houses. Venus is exalted in Pisces, meaning that it’s where it’s most comfortable. I guess there is the connection to why Neptune is the higher octave of Venus, idealized love, romantic love, love is blind.
Neptune rules over film, movies, makeup, stories, the seas, water, gases, drugs, alcohol far off foreign lands, psychic ability, other worlds and God or higher beings. Neptune rules Pisces the natural 12th house of the zodiac. This is the house of imagination and make believe it is the house of hidden pleasures and escape also self sabotage. This is the house of hides pleasures and self sabotage, hidden enemies this is where we are blind. This is a huge house!
So when these two planets are conjunct in Synastry we put on our pink glasses and we see our partner for their potential or our idealist version of them, essentially we become blinded by love and the fairytale.
The person could be a thief, a drug addict or an outright cheater but we tell ourselves that we can change them if we love them enough. We love them for their potential and not for who they really are and by the time we accept the truth and begin to see them realistically with blinders off, it’s often too late. The damage is done, we’ve be robbed, cheated on, used and abused and left feeling hurt and damaged.
This is one of my least favorite aspects and I’m fortunate to not have experienced it. However, some of my clients have and they swear that it was one of their most romantic relationship while the illusion and deception was going on and the most emotionally damaging at the end when the blinders came off. So are you in a romantic haze, or are you sure that Prince Charming is is a prince or is he really a frog?
