Ionising Radiation: A Physical Hazard in the Workplace

In this video I will be giving a brief overview of Ionising Radiation, which is an important type of occupational hazard that a worker can be potentially exposed to!

I will go over three main topics
A brief overview on the electromagnetic spectrum in particular ionising radiation
How we determine radiation dose, potential health effects of radiation and current dose limits
The types of controls that should be in place to minimise exposure
