Danny Spillmann kicked off Day 2 of the Conference as the keynote speaker. His presentation was enthusiastically received covered many advances and innovations at play in the GIS industry.
He also showed some amazing footage of digital twins in action and we've included the Boston, USA "Twin" into this podcast.
Danny has been working directly in the GIS and spatial information industries since 1995 and has been with Esri since 1998. He is a trained urban planner but is keen to stress he's never worked a day in the planning world!
Instead, and as the corporate director of Esri’s global business, he has a wide array of responsibilities and experience reaching over three decades and diverse industries including natural resources, infrastructure, and commercial markets.
He manages strategy and execution to help organizations use location intelligence to meet the needs of their business.
