For those curious about how PCSX2 emulation looks and plays nowadays, here is a full match from my ongoing WE9LE Master League. Struggling in Season 3, my first in Division 1, I still have lots of Defaults in the squad and it shows.
5* difficulty "only', as I was too impatient to get started to wait until I'd unlocked 6*. Sorry purists.
PCSX2 running on an M2 Mac Mini here, using a DualShock4 controller. It's incredible that we have this possibility now.
