SAAB 900 T16s rescue (ep1): And so my next SAAB resto begins!

Hello all and welcome to my very first of many videos on this rather lovely Beryl Green Classic SAAB 900 T16 restoration!

Bought as-is as it has way too much potential to turn down...and I'm a sucker for saving SAAB's!

Keen-eyed car viewers will note the whale-tale spoiler, snow covers, 16" 'Carlsson' 3 spokes and Abbott Racing s/s exhaust system. Under the bonnet is red box APC, Abbott Racing charge-cooler (I referred to it as an intercooler in the video, oooops!) and factory A/C. Inside is a lovely (and recently re-trimmed) beige leather interior and Nardi wood wheel, but with a shockingly bad headlining (typical C900 trait...). So, all-in-all, not too bad a place to start.

The plan? Fresh fuel, pump up the tyres, get it home, get the bumpers and kit off, lift the carpets etc to check for rot and then get stuck into it!
