I finally watch The Fall after my friend Nadine strongly urged me to on Twitter:D I'm very glad I did. I knew Gillian Anderson would be great, but what I also loved is how strongly I could relate to the whole scene of things. I work in the police myself, but in the administration, and there was something so familiar about the setting in Northern Ireland, the power structure, the way they talk to each other at the job. It was just all very relatable to me even though I manage spreadsheets instead of serial killers. And Gillian plays those scenes so well where you can see the power dynamic on her face. I wanted to use another song at first but it was blocked, but this one spoke about the theme even better and it just worked.
