Exploring ghostly remains of Leechtown, on Vancouver Island. A long solo hike in the wild of Sooke on a very rainy day made for quite an adventure, & it was all worth it with how much stuff there was to be discovered. They say there isn’t much left of this once booming gold rush community in the mountains but they haven’t looked hard enough. I had such a blast scouring around this area, with so much to explore. Gotta go back in the summer for sure. Kapoor Lumber Co. also operated in the area since 1928, & also left plenty of ruins/relics.
