Talk about yer bad luck! The band finally gets some interest gig-wise and the world has a plague . . but, you can't keep a good man down, etc, etc . . so after six months of obstacles, flick# 15 is in the can !
77 years ago, Fred Astaire debuted this Harold Arlen/Johnny Mercer gem when he danced his way through the 1943 movie "The Sky's The Limit" . But, Macky was feeling kinda bluesy, and Sinatra's late 50's slowed-down version (which has become a staple for just about every saloon singer on the planet) seemed the perfect choice since the heymacs know a little bit about saloons!


And, speaking of the plague - - as if it wasn't hard enough surviving on people's spare change . . . in these times, with folks using debit cards, nobody's carrying cash ! So, let's all keep a toonie or two in pocket should the situation arise, OK
