My most devastating moment as a furniture maker.

I wanted to create these modern floating nightstands as a way to add more visual interest to the
bedroom. But in order to make the designs pop, I wanted the front to really grab your attention.
With the help of my friend Paul (of Copper Pig Fine Woodworking), we carved a modified Asanoha
Japanese pattern into the front of these drawers and filled it with brass powder and epoxy. With all of the unique aspects of this design, I never would have thought that it would end in such a disaster!
