Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron (83 min)

Synopsis: Spirit, a Kiger mustang colt, is born to a herd of wild horses. Spirit grows into a stallion and assumes the leadership of the herd. One night, Spirit is captured by a couple of horse wranglers and is sent away to a US cavalry fort. In captivity, Spirit encounters "The Colonel", who orders the mustang to be tamed. Meanwhile, a Lakota Native American named Little Creek is also brought into the fort and held captive. When Spirit refuses to let the Colonel ride him, he is rescued by Little Creek and they make their escape from the fort to a Lakota village. There, Spirit meets a beautiful paint mare named Rain. Little Creek ties Spirit and Rain together, hoping she can discipline him. When the Colonel and his men attack the village, Spirit and Rain escape. Can Spirit escape from the Colonel’s pursuit and return to his homeland to reunite with his herd?
