CBN Wheels a scam? - what wheel grit should you sharpen lathe tools with

Discuss the disadvantages and disadvantages of CBN sharpening wheels. Are other sharpening wheels adequate for turners? Does a gouge sharpened with 600 grit cut better than one sharpened with 80 grit wheel?

Edit: The CBN wheel system in 2023 is in the $550-650 range plus the sharpening jig system. I mentioned $1,000 in video and that was me having a bad memory. I did remember correctly that it was a lot of money!
