TimeSlice films was asked to capture the varied & dynamic range of dance styles brought to the series by its group of 14 finalists. Although mainly dancing in pairs for the live shows, only one person can win the title of the UKs favorite dancer. This in turn meant each finalist had to be filmed individually. Sticking to a tight one day schedule, time pressures were never far from mind, Andy Milk our head camera man had his work cut out ensuring each dancer was captured at the perfect moment. However, all 14 finalists had time to perform & with near instant review of shots on-set, confidence was high, leaving everyone pleased with the results. The shots themselves will be re-purposed across different media, allowing them to be used as indents & stings for broadcast as well as for interactive & web.
