《The Wayfaring Stranger》是一首來自19世紀的美國傳統靈歌，旋律哀傷而深遠，歌詞訴說著一位旅人孤身穿越世間苦難、渴望回歸「天堂家園」的心路歷程。這首歌承載了早期美國移民、宗教信仰與人生無常的情感背景，是靈歌傳統中極具代表性的經典之一。
由 Greg Gilpin 編寫的合唱版本保留了原曲的樸實與感傷，並巧妙地透過層次分明的聲部編排，營造出深沉、迴盪的音響效果。他的編曲使旋律彷彿從內心深處緩緩流出，宛如一場靈魂的旅程——從迷惘與孤單，通往光明與希望。
