Coastguard Medical Emergency London Regent’s Park Sikorsky S92 Helibus Takes Off

On a rare trip to the capital, a Coastguard #Sikorsky S92 Helibus flew over the park where I was taking lunch performing a circle of Regent's Park ready to make a landing. #avgeek

The Helicopter was assisting the London #Ambulance Service in transporting a very poorly patient so they could receive essential #emergency care at a London Hospital.

The patient was transported, not shown in this clip, and it is hoped they will make a recovery.

The HM Coastguard were met by officers from the #MetPolice Force and the London #Ambulance Service who assisted in the #Emergency which happened in #CentralLondon #Avgeeks

Here you can see the #Helicopter preparing for departure and takeoff, with an almighty backdraft of debris being thrown up.

The HM Coastguard perform many duties, including the transportation of #criticallyill people to parts of the country that require air transportation.
