Jessica walks you through how to measure yourself for a bra. This is important to help you get the right fit during maternity and postpartum.
To measure yourself, use a soft measuring tape. Take the first measurement underneath the breast, around the rib cage. If this is an odd number, round up to the next even number. This is your band measurement. The second measurement is at the fullest part of your breast. To get your best measurement, you want to wear as few layers of clothing as possible and no heavily padded bras. Take your breast measurement minus your actual rib cage measurement (not the rounded up number) to get your cup size. A = 1 inch, B = 2 inch, C = 3 inch, D = 4 inch, DD/E = 5 inch, DDD/F = 6 inch, G = 7 inch, H = 8 inch, I = 9 inch, J = 10 inch. If you are closer to the larger size, round up. Since many of the bras have a larger size range, it's better to size up a little in the cup size. Especially if you are currently pregnant.
After measuring yourself, you can message us via Facebook or Instagram for helping to find a bra that will support you and your lifestyle. We carry nursing bras, hands-free pumping bras, nursing sports bras, and everyday bras. We are here to help you!
