In this video, I'm showing you guys the result of some modifications to my shower design and the resulting successful foam production for my fractionator.
I use oyster shells as filter media because they're cheap and have the benefit of providing carbonate for bacteria. Probably the best media for koi filtration in my opinion.
It's passive and always on, doesn't use a separate pump.
