I personally believe having solid, protective body armor is an important piece of anyone freedom protection and self-defense arsenal.

It's one of those things we hope we never have to use but sleep better at night knowing we have it.

This is why I wanted to do a review, as well as a tutorial on how to assemble this AR500 Testudo Plate Carrier.

I absolutely love it and can't recommend it enough.

The bundle I purchased from AR500 Armor came with the plate carrier vest, 2 trauma pads, 2 level III plates, a battle belt, a handgun mag and 30 round mag carrier pouch that you can attach to the vest, and some malice clips.

Pretty much everything you need to get started with a basic body armor set.
