This beautiful wooden sculpture of the Madonna and Child takes pride of place in our Art of Living gallery at the National Museum of Scotland.
The Madonbna looks very different now to the way she would have looked when she was first carved and painted around 600 years ago.
But thanks to the painstaking work of a team of conservators and scientists, the Madonna and Child have now been restored to their former glory - digitally!
This short film shows how the sculpture was assembled and how it may have originally appeared.
