In early 2023, there were engineering works going on on between Highley and Bridgnorth, so trains only ran between Kidderminster and Highley. One train, four round trips. So on the last weekend before the line fully reopened, I decided to take a trip.
The idea was to do a hop-on, hop-off at each of the stations, so in this case Kidderminster, Bewdley, Northwood Halt, Arley and Highley. The day also involved a look around the Kidderminster Railway Museum, a look around the Engine House and a walk between Bewdley and Northwood Halt, which was a bit of a race against time, but I was able to take some photos of the old bridge which once held the line to Tenbury Wells.
