This documentary-style video follows a three-week kids’ holiday art camp hosted at the Sane Wadu Trust studio in Naivasha during the November school break.
The program brought together 45–60 children aged 6–14 to learn and create through activities such as tie-dye, painting, colouring, and block printing. Guided by practising artists Sane Wadu and Eunice Wadu — each with over 30 years of professional experience — the camp focused on skill-sharing, collaboration, and creative confidence.
Delivered in partnership with the Nairobi Contemporary Art Institute (NCAI), the program highlights the importance of community-led art education and mentorship by local artists. The initiative aims to continue offering similar opportunities during future school holidays, supporting young creatives within their own communities.
