Using manual Focus to photograph flying birds.
This week’s video is about photographing birds as they fly. One of the problems with taking photos of flying birds is that the auto focus will not focus on the bird. This is when I use manual focus.
This week’s videos I will be trying to photograph Barn Swallows, this very small and erratic flying bird can be very hard to photograph. I have photographed this bird Many times but always as it was sitting on a post, never flying.
I have found that most of the time auto focus is the best option for photographing birds, today that will not work. The camera can not see the bird from everything else.
