Don’t Trust Your RV Tires (Do This First!)

One of the first things every new RV owner should do is check their tires—because a blowout can ruin your trip real fast. Many RVs, especially used ones, come with tires that are cheap, old, or even dry-rotted, and most will age out long before the tread wears down. Always check the DOT date codes and visually inspect your tires before hitting the road, and don’t assume “low miles” means they’re safe. Replacing old or questionable tires might not be fun, but it’s far cheaper than the damage a blowout can cause.
