Trip report: Carpatair & airBaltic Business Class Fokker 100 & CS300 OSL-RIX-CDG, BT152 & BT693

It's been a while since I last made a trip report as I've been away the whole summer, so here it is (with more coming up in the following weeks). This was my trip from Oslo (Norway) to Paris (France) via Riga (Latvia) with Air Baltic in Business Class on Friday, June 23, 2017. The reason why the first flight was operated by Carpatair, was because Air Baltic needed to lease some planes for the busy summer season, and as such, they had chosen to wet-lease a couple of Fokker 100s from Carpatair. Either way, it was a very nice trip, with two interesting aircraft. I was very impressed by the Air Baltic service in Business Class on short-haul flights, especially as they give you a three-course hot meal on a flight of less than two hours. The CS300 truly is a state-of-the-art aircraft; it looks sleek from the outside and bright & modern from the inside. I truly apologize for not being able to film the landing on the CS300; the reason why is because as we were about to land, my video camera accidentally hit the window really hard (my fault), and as a result, it stopped working for some minutes. True, I could have filmed with my phone, but I didn't think about it that moment... besides, the memory on my phone was nearly full. It was only on the ground that I got the video camera to work again and resume filming, but by then, obviously, it was too late to film the landing... however, I will do my best to ensure it will not happen again. Be aware that there's a typo at 22:42; the aircraft was YL-CSC, not YL-CSD. I hope you will still enjoy the video, despite the landing not being filmed.
