October 6, 2025 Harvest Moon rises above the tip of Mount Diablo, California photographed from 15 miles away in Orinda. This is a 600 image sequence captured on the Sony a1ii with 300mm GM and 2x teleconverter. I’m shocked that this shot worked as it required minimum heat haze, perfect alignment, and a clear day but somehow it all works out. Hope you got out there to see the Supermoon!
