1. Arrival and Check-in:
You are recommended to arrive at the harbour at least 30 minutes before your scheduled departure. Although in our case, we just show up without booking and luckily still managed to board directly after buying on site ticket.
2. Lane Selection:
Blue Lane: This is for passenger cars up to 6 meters long. If you booked your ticket online with your license plate, the system will automatically scan it, and you'll confirm your booking on a machine. The machine will print your ticket, and the barrier will open.
Yellow Lane: Use this lane if your vehicle is over 6 meters long or if you're travelling with a trailer, camper, or caravan. This lane is also used for motorcycles, disability cars, and if you need to pay with cash or haven't booked online. In the yellow lane, a staff member will assist you.
3. Boarding:
Once the barrier opens, you will be directed to the designated lane to wait for boarding.
Follow the instructions of the staff to drive onto the ferry.
The crossing from Puttgarden to Rødby takes approximately 45 minutes.
