The dredging job took place within breakwaters, there was quite a swell, which was tackled by placing the DOP including its drive on a jack up pontoon. The DOP pump is mining sand, pumping it ashore.

The main challenge of the project was the presence of unexploded WWII ammunition. For this, the submersed pump was adapted. Thus it pumped clean sand to a booster, which pumped the mined sand ashore. Another example of the creative use of a Damen dredging tool!
