A weekend crossing of the UAE Hajar Mountains - but not everything went according to plan. From an 11- hour drive, barely any sleep, and forgetting charging cables, to wrong turns, unplanned hike-a-bike through sand, and bike gear cables failing- Day 1 tested me in every way.
Day 2, however, brought a fresh start: mountains, coastal descents, and finally a peaceful arrival at the hotel to meet my wife.
Route highlights: Sharjah - Al Dhaid - Masafi - Dibba.
