Interview conducted on August 24, 2011 by Eileen Hurst. Joseph T. Perkins served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War, being stationed at Camp Lejeune, NC as well as A Shau Valley, Vietnam and was stationed on the USS Valley Forge. While in the Marine Corps, Perkins achieved the rank of Sergeant (E-5). The interview has 2 parts.
