How to weave a wire netting basket shell pendant (Aannsha Jones creates)

In this video "How to weave a wire netting basket shell pendant", I show you how to weave silver wire to make a netting basket around a shell to make a cool wire wrapped pendant. This tutorial shows you the process and includes written instructions and still close up photos to assist you.

I live on a boat and am travelling from the Mediterranean back to Australia! Along the way I find shells, sea glass and cool pebbles on the beach. I love to make these into beautiful pendants by wire wrapping them in silver wire. I think the wire netting is great because it reminds me of fishermen's nets. What do you think?

TOOLS & MATERIALS I USED FOR THIS PENDANT:
Pliers:
Round nose, Bent nose, Nylon jaw
Wire cutters
Dead Soft Sterling Silver Wire:
0.8mm or 1mm (20 or 18 guage)
0.4mm or 0.5mm (26 or 24 guage)
Mitra shell & Abalone shell bead
