Learn how to take your look development and lighting skills to the next level with Foundry's Katana software. Gnomon host Adam Hartel will kick off the livestream event before we take a deep dive into the latest features of Katana, which helps artists meet the needs of CG-rendering projects.

Join experienced Lighting Artist Abel Vargas on Thursday, October 15th as he discusses the various ways Katana is deployed in look development and lighting. In this presentation, Abel will cover how Katana's power can facilitate massively scaled look development across multiple assets, and demonstrate how he uses Katana 3.6's updates to its shading system. He will also show how to manage shot work by easily recreating and duplicating assets. While most people might think of Katana as only being used in integrated pipelines, Abel will discuss how he uses Katana to achieve individual results.
