Friday Night Funkin' is an upcoming rhythm video game developed by Funkin' Crew Inc. and released on Newgrounds in 2020. The game is developed by a small group consisting primarily of Cameron "ninjamuffin99" Taylor, David "PhantomArcade" Brown, Isaac "Kawai Sprite" Garcia, and evilsk8r. The game is also open-source. It shares some gameplay features with Dance Dance Revolution, PaRappa the Rapper, and the "Dance Contest" minigame from Club Penguin, and borrows aesthetic influences from Flash games. The game has been credited with driving users back to Newgrounds, a site that rose in popularity in the early 2000s. The game revolves around the player character, Boyfriend, who must defeat a variety of opponents in singing and rapping contests in order to continue dating his love interest, Girlfriend. Gameplay involves hitting notes with timed inputs while avoiding running out of health for the duration of the song. The game was initially created for the Ludum Dare 47 game jam on October 5, 2020. An expanded demo was released on November 1, 2020, with updates continually released in the following months. A full version of the game backed by Kickstarter, titled Friday Night Funkin': The Full Ass Game, is in development.
Battle for Dream Island, abbreviated as BFDI, is the first season of Battle for Dream Island, first premiering on January 1, 2010, on the YouTube channel jacknjellify. The show takes place in Goiky. The season has 25 episodes. The final episode, Return of the Hang Glider, premiered on January 1, 2012.
The season was succeeded by Battle for Dream Island Again, released on June 29, 2012, with the release of "Yeah, Who? I Wanna Know".
Battle for Corrupted Island (also known as Battle For A Friday Night Disaster in the V2 update, and Battle For Sweet Dreams in the upcoming V3 update and in the V3 Demo) is a mod directed and created by ZayDash Animates with help from TopicNote, brickboy, Rude_Remark and WushyAnimates (and beta-testing from PoisonousB). This mod puts the following web series of Battle for Dream Island, Battle For B.F.D.I./B.F.B., and The Power Of Two (created by jacknjellify) into an apocalyptic period where the Darkness enters the land of Goiky to take it over. In the mod, Boyfriend and Pibby face off against a horde of corrupted object contestants from the BFDI series. The contestants' one wish was to win Dream Island, but after the Darkness interrupted the show, Dream Island was no longer in their interests, and now they have set their eyes on battling alongside each other as a giant team for survivors.
Battle For Corrupted Island focuses on BFDI (Season 1), BFDIA (Season 2), and BFB (Season 4), while Battle For A Friday Night Disaster redirects the focus to BFB (Season 4) and BFDI: TPOT (Season 5). Battle for Sweet Dreams is the sequel and the finale of the first two versions. It starts right after Budget Cuts, where Flower who was still corrupted, resisted the corruption in a desperate attempt to bring back time to the present, using the Youtube rewinder, sending everybody from BFDI to BFB and TPOT. The mod version will also have massive reworks on the past weeks in Battle For Corrupted Island and Battle For A Friday Night Disaster, as seen in many of ZayDash Animates' concept songs. It will also contain songs that happened at the same time as the main songs in V1.
Battle For Sweet Dreams demo was released on October 31st, featuring the songs as seen in the V3 trailer on ZayDash Animates' YouTube channel. It currently has 7 available songs, each with a different lore to them, as well as confirmation of one of ZayDash Animates' concept songs, Tit For Tat, seen in the game files.
After the release of the demo, it was believed the mod was either cancelled or restarted entirely due to internal drama and leaks. (Which won't be covered on this page.) However, with the release of the ABANDONEMENT oneshot mod and a teaser for Ending Seasons V3, it was revealed that BFCI was officially back.
