Safety Testing - EMC Technologies - Australia and New Zealand

Electrical products require safety testing and if AC mains-powered usually requires mandated compliance testing to the local electrical safety regulations. In Australia, this is part of the Regulatory Compliance Mark (RCM) and is mandatory for all AC mains-powered products. Depending upon the product also determines the level of compliance required. There are 3 levels of compliance (level 1, 2 & 3) with level 3 having the most stringent requirements, which include requiring product registration on the ERAC / ESSS database.
