We took a quick one-week trip to New York City, combining work and leisure as my husband attended conferences during UN Climate Week.
While he spent full days at climate and sustainability conferences, I explored Manhattan solo—walking around Midtown and Lower Manhattan, visiting iconic spots like Bryant Park and the New York Public Library, fixing jet lag with slow city strolls, and reconnecting with old friends based in New Jersey, New York and even Annapolis in Maryland.
