📚Description: What's the Best Year for a Gibson Les Paul of the 1959 Variety? The truth is - they're all great, even the "worst" year 2012. This is meant to be used as a general guide to REGULAR R9 reissues - not including the TRUE HISTORIC YEARS.

My recommendation is anything 2019 or newer for someone who wants the closest thing to a 1959 that Gibson makes today.

If you want something with more history - an 80s prehistoric, early 2000s or 93/94 will fit the bill.
