In this video, I teach you how to go FAST when ice skating. Of course, you should keep in mind that before attempting to go fast you should make sure you are stable and able to stop. This is because there is nothing more dangerous on a busy ice skating session than someone skating faster than they can control.

The tips in this video can be helpful for all different forms of ice skating, but please keep in mind that for figure skating specific "fast skating", you must be able to pick up a lot of speed while also looking good. Unlike other sports on ice, the style in which the moves are performed is just as important as being able to perform the different figure skating moves.
