Perth enters the world stage with ECU City media architecture

We are so excited to share the first test footage of ECU City’s spectacular new media architecture, a digital canvas that is set to light up our city like never before!

When the new campus opens in semester one 2026, a cutting-edge LED façade and immersive digital foyer screen will bring the $853 million campus to life in a vibrant display of art and culture. Jointly funded by the Albanese Labor Government, the Cook Labor Government and ECU, the 65,000-square-metre campus will energise Perth’s CBD with more than 10,000 students and staff.

With 2,800 LED fixtures across the façade and one of Australia’s largest ultra-high-definition screens inside, ECU City will showcase innovation, creativity, and community at a global scale.
