aemond & aegon au!|...how did we get here?

Dedicated to all the HOTD fans who believe Aemond would be loyal and loving to Aegon as a brother?

But especially dedicated to the amazing editor    / @hanniet   She loves these characters very much and has had to suffer through some...err...interesting writing changes to them. v_v Thank you Hanniet for your amazing vids! And being a great person to complain about the show with, haha. :D If you haven't found her already and you love historical show vids and GOT/HOTD editing that has also endlessly inspired me, then I would check out her channel!

I made the majority of this video a very long time before my other Aegon/Aemond one, and I felt inspired to finish it off. Alicent is still not book accurate (oops). . But I think its self explanatory from the lyrics that I am coming from the pov that alicent/otto/viserys are really "the fools" (at least in the show), especially because of how they raised Aegon & Aemond.

I tried to portray that Aemond comes to understand why Aegon is the way he is, and how part of this is due to the way the brothers were/are treated differently by their parents. And that despite Aegons foolish behaviour of drinking/partying etc, Aemond still see's Aegon's good qualities that other people can't and remains loving and fiercely loyal to him. - unlike show Aemond.

So yes there is some toxicity between the brothers and friction, but a lot of it is a result of their upbringing and due to the influence of the adult figures around them. Adults who are pushing their political/personal agendas onto their children. Aemond still might think he would be the better king, but he isn't going to try kill his brother over it. These two still love and support one another as family.

Well it felt so impossible to show all my thoughts.. ugh. So it is what it is, I gotta get out of here before the regret of pushing publish sinks in, lol.
