Pilot Training Part 2 | Navigraph Academy | VATSIM Thursday Briefing | MSFS 2024 🛩️

Today, we return to Navigraph Academy as we continue progressing through our Virtual PPL. This session dives deeper into the fundamental building blocks of real-world flying — the core skills every pilot must master before moving on to advanced manoeuvres or navigation.

We’ll explore climbs and descents, practice recognising and recovering from stalls, push the aircraft to its maximum permissible speed in a controlled dive, and then move into slow flight with proper use of flaps. These lessons form the backbone of safe, confident flying — and today, we bring them to life inside Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.

Later in the stream, we’ll shift gears to preview tonight’s upcoming VATSIM Thursday event, where we’ll be stepping back in time to fly the majestic Douglas DC-6 from Chicago (KORD) up to Minneapolis (KMSP). A classic route. A classic aircraft. And full live ATC from wheels-up to shutdown.
