This new rule has caught the industry by storm. No one believed that CMS would implement this rule-but it is now the law of the land. All agents in the Medicare space, must record EVERY client interaction. This rule will be in effect for AEP. While CMS said they have no way to audit this, and the carriers have been very quiet, we are working with NAHU to get some relief. There is hope that we can scale this back, but for now. The rule is law.
