How to Build a 12S7P Esk8 Battery: Revisiting SR-71 Bluebird

In today's video, I build an upgraded battery for my old Efficiency Test board. This board has been suffering from an out of balance battery made from 30Q cells, which I built in 2020. Time for an upgrade!

Building lithium-ion batteries at home can be a very dangerous thing to do, if you are not well versed in the dangers and things to avoid. The battery in this video uses Molicel P26A cells, which BatteryMooch rates for 25a. In this pack, I utilize copper braid for some of my series connections, it's very convenient for making low-profile connections that require to be fit into a small space. It's essential to be aware of how much heat you are using, and use appropriate insulation like I did with the FR4 plates.
