Sardinia Part One

This is the first part of our short but intense trip to Northern Sardinia.
We spent the first two of our four nights at the Valle dell'Erica Thalasso & SPA, a five-star resort, and it was love at first sight!
Arriving in the evening from our base in Athens, we had just enough time for dinner—and what a dinner!
After only a handful of hours of sleep, I suddenly found myself awake before dawn. My adrenaline was at its peak when, peering out the window at the landscape in the dark, I glimpsed what could have been a spectacular sunrise. In the darkness, quietly so as not to wake my wife, I carried my camera bags to the balcony and the photographic and videographic journey began.
There's no need to explain what we experienced in just four days in the splendid Northern Sardinia; the images speak for themselves.
This time, however, we can say with certainty that we will return to Sardinia; there is so much to discover in this earthly paradise.

2025 was undoubtedly the most difficult and tragic year of my life.
Thanks to trips like this one, which particularly relaxed, inspired, and enchanted me, I was able to stay on my feet after months and months of agony, stress, and pain caused by the severe decline in my parents' health, who passed away just three months apart. My mother, in particular, passed away the day after we returned from Sardinia.
The positive energy I received in just four days of our trip to Sardinia helped give me the strength to face this kind of tragedy for the second time in 2025.
